About Me
A lifelong passion for color and form inspires my art. I have always been attracted to simple geometric shapes, and I focus on art that plays with shapes and beautiful colors in the hopes of touching our core emotions. I believe strongly in creating art that is much more than the sum of its parts and that the right combination of color and shape can come to represent any physical object or nonphysical idea.
Born and raised in South Korea, I was educated at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University New Jersey and at Columbia University in New York City. Combining my life experience and education allows my artistic perspective to remain traditional yet contemporary. Art is my prism through which I re-create and re-envision the world.
